Organization of the Geographic Space

Description:

Studies of the organization of the geographical space and analysis of the impacts of land use and occupation based on social and environmental processes and their complex relationships.

RESEARCH LINES

I. Socio-environmental dynamics and geoprocessing

Description:

Dynamic, analytical and systemic study considering the combinations of socio-environmental events, spatializing their interactions and repercussions in the organization of space, through the analysis and treatment of georeferenced quantitative and qualitative data.

II. Socio-spatial Organization and Territorial Dynamics

Description:

Studies of social, economic, political and historical processes based on their evidence and space organizations. Analysis of territorial planning and management in the face of the socioeconomic development process and its impacts on the territory.
